AMBASSADOR MR. L. BOLD MET WITH MR. F. FAYOT, MINISTER OF DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION AND HUMANITARIAN AFFAIRS AND MINISTER OF ECONOMY OF LUXEMBOURG

Ambassador Mr. L. Bold met with Mr. F. Fayot, Minister of Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs and Minister of Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on October 13, 2022, in Luxembourg.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the issues to be implemented following the visit of Minister F. Fayot to Mongolia in July 2022. During this visit, Minister F. Fayot signed the documents for a total of 10.0 million euros granted by the Government of Luxembourg to the health sector of Mongolia.

This time, Minister F. Fayot expressed that another 5.0 million euros of grants will be allocated to Mongolia to protect maternal and child health, and informed that the financing document is in the process of being approved by the Government of Luxembourg.

The parties also noted the importance of expanding trilateral cooperation between Mongolia, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in the field of health and seeking opportunities for cooperation in the field of logistics and cargo services, proposals made during the above-mentioned visit.
